How much does an Olympic Museum entrance ticket cost?The ticket price is the same at the ticket desk and online (standard rates). For more details, take a look at our price list here.
The Olympic Museum entrance ticket gives you access to both the permanent and temporary exhibitions.
We strongly recommend that you buy your ticket online, to avoid having to queue at the ticket desk and to enable you to access the exhibitions directly. But this is not obligatory.
Olympic Museum entrance tickets can be bought online here or from the ticket desk.
We accept cash (Swiss francs and euros, but notes only for payments in euros), most credit cards (except for American Express), TWINT, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay and gift vouchers valid in the TOM Shop.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Twint.
You can pay in Swiss francs (notes and coins) and in euros (notes only). You will be given any change in Swiss francs. If you use a credit card, depending on the policy of the card issuer, you may be able to pay in the currency of your choice.
Yes. Even if tickets for children aged up to 15 are free, you still need to add them to your basket when you order your tickets online.
No, the TOM Café is accessible to everyone.
If you buy your ticket via our website, you won’t need to queue at the ticket desk, and can go straight into the exhibition area by scanning your ticket at the access gates (print it out or download it onto your phone).
ONLINE TICKETING
I wasn’t able to visit the Museum on the planned date using the ticket I bought online. Can I obtain a refund?As stipulated in our terms and conditions (CGV), all sales are final. This means that once you have bought a ticket, it can be neither refunded nor exchanged.

You will then be able to modify your order and change the date selected by entering the future date of your choice in the calendar. If you cannot access your account or have any other problem, please email info.museum@olympic.org with all your details (reference number if available, date of purchase, given name and family name, and email address used to make the order).

Yes, you can download onto your phone the ticket your receive by email and place this image on the access gates, to avoid having to go to the ticket desk. If you do this, we suggest you increase the brightness of your phone screen so that the scanner can read the ticket barcode more easily.

If you do print out your ticket, simply place the barcode on the access gate and enter the exhibition area, with no need to go to the ticket desk.

If you buy your ticket online, you will automatically receive a confirmation email containing your tickets. If you lose this email, please send an email to info.museum@olympic.org with all your details (reference number if available, date of purchase, given name and family name, and email address used to make the order). You will then be resent your tickets by email based on the details you sent.

What are The Olympic Museum opening hours?You can see the opening hours here
You don’t need to reserve your Olympic Museum visit in advance, but you can buy your tickets online or when you get there. Guided tours and package reservations for groups do need to be bookedin advance, however.
The recommended visit time is two hours. And don’t forget to allow some extra time to check out the TOM Shop and grab a bite to eat at the TOM Café.
The Olympic Museum has ample provision for parking, with the "Navigation" underground car park in Ouchy, the Beau-Rivage Hotel car park, and pay-and-display on the Quai d’Ouchy and the Avenue de l’Elysée. Make sure you read the parking signs carefully! On weekends during the summer, the Quai d'Ouchy is closed to traffic from Saturday at 10am to Sunday at 8pm. Visitors are advised to use the other car parks available or to take public transport. Two parking spaces for visitors with reduced mobility are available at the north entrance to the Museum.
All areas of the Museum are accessible to wheelchair users. Access is advised by the north entrance, on Avenue de l’Elysée, where there are two parking spaces for people with reduced mobility. The toilets on levels 0 and +2 are accessible to wheelchair users. The tables in the restaurant are adapted for visitors in wheelchairs. A mobility plan is available at the reception desk
Yes, one cloakroom with left-luggage lockers is available on the ground of the Olympic Museum.
Only guide dogs are allowed in the Museum.
A UBS cash dispenser can be found on the ground floor in the Olympic Museum entrance hall.
The audioguides are free and available in 12 languages, subject to stock availability.
You are allowed to eat food and drink brought from outside on the first-floor terrace and in the Olympic Park, but not inside the Museum itself. The kiosk in the Park is open from May to October.
Filming and photography are authorised in all areas accessible to visitors. Drones are not allowed. Photos should be strictly for private use. If this is not the case, please contact promotion section.
Like all public areas in the Canton of Vaud, the Museum and the TOM Café are non-smoking venues.
Bikes, scooters, skateboards and rollerblades must remain outside the Museum. Parking for bikes is available at the north and south entrances to the Olympic Park.
Yes, there is a Swisscom Wi-Fi network that visitors can use. Please note that you will have to send/receive a text message in order to connect to the network.
Yes, the visit route is designed so that it is easy to take a pushchair with you. There is also a lift so you can access the various Museum floors easily.
Yes, subject to availability. Please speak to the ticket desk staff if you would like them to lend you a wheelchair.

Is there a shop at The Olympic Museum?Yes, the the shop offers a range of exclusive fun, dynamic and original Olympic-themed articles. The shop has the same opening hours as The Olympic Museum.
Gift vouchers for the restaurant and the shop can only be bought online here.
Yes. With the exception of lingerie and food, you can obtain a refund for an article on presentation of your till receipt within 14 days of purchase. The article must be returned in its original packaging, and must not have been worn, used or damaged. The management reserves the right to refuse a refund.
