Ski Jumping

There are individual and team events in Ski Jumping, where the athletes must jump the furthest to win. In the individual event, 40 participants decide the standings through the first and second rounds of two jumps after one trial jump. In the team event, the cumulative score from four athletes in each team decides the standings.

The difference between the Normal Hill and Large Hill is the Kritish Point: the latter with the hill size 110 metres or higher, the former with the hill size from 85 to 109 metres. The difference between two hills at the same venue should be at least 25 metres. The scores are divided into distance and attitude (aerial and landing). Five referees evaluate the aerial and landing attitudes with a scale of 20 points, with the highest and the lowest scores ruled out when adding the distance score to decide the standings.

At the Winter Youth Olympic Games Gangwon 2024, the events are Men’s/Women’s Individual (Normal Hill) and Mixed Team (Normal Hill).
