Different ways to work with us!

We are committed to facilitating and supporting Olympic culture and education initiatives around the world. Every year, we assist the organisers of hundreds of global projects with the development and production of exhibitions, displays, educational material and events.

Do you need assistance with the design, content or implementation of your programme? We can provide access to more than 120 years of Olympic history, IOC patrimony, Olympic knowledge, resources, advice and expertise for both bespoke and turnkey solutions.

Requests can be made for Olympic posters, exhibitions, artefacts, archives and Official Films of the Olympic Games, as well as digital and educational kits. For more detailed information, visit the Culture & Education Hub here.

How can you make a request?

To enable us to assess each request, any institution interested in obtaining a loan is invited to complete the online contact form.

Detailed requests submitted (ideally three months) in advance will be given the utmost attention.

Who can request a loan?

We consider loan requests from public or public-service bodies, in particular: 

• Museums, archives, libraries, cultural institutions and recognised festivals
• Institutions belonging to the Olympic family

Requests from private organisations are also studied on a case-by-case basis.  

What are the criteria?

All requests are assessed based on the following criteria: 

• Availability of the object(s)
• Alignment with the missions of the Olympic Foundation for Culture and Heritage
• Condition and stability of the object in case it has to travel
• The conditions for transport, presentation and preservation planned by the user or borrower

Preparation documents such as exhibition scenarios, facility reports, layout plans, descriptions of the showcases, project timetables, etc. give us a better understanding of the project, help us to assess if it corresponds to our criteria, and enable us to propose various solutions that best match the request.
