2020 Olympian Yul Moldauer put on a dominant display Sunday (25 February) to win the men's all-around at USA Gymnastics' Winter Cup in Louisville, Kentucky.

It's the fourth all-around title of his career and second-straight at the event for Moldauer.

After two days of all-around competition, Moldauer tallied 169.750 ahead of fellow Tokyo Olympian Shane Wiskus, who scored 167.450. Riley Loos (163.900) was third.

"I always love me and Shane battling it out, we go back to the NCAA," Moldauder said afterward. "So just to look at each and say, 'Let's go,' that's always a fun thing to do."

Coming into the second day of competition, Wiskus held a .400 lead over Moldauer.

But Moldauer took the lead after the first event Sunday after vaulting a stuck Kasamatsu one-and-a-half twist for a 14.500. Meanwhile Wiskus earned a 13.950 on the floor exercise, down six tenths from spectacular night one routine.

In the second rotation, Moldauer blew his lead wide open, rocking a parallel bars routine that included a stuck double front half out dismount for a 15.400, more than three points better than Wiskus' 12.250 effort on the pommel horse.

Moldauer went on to produce solid scores on the high bar (13.050) and floor exercise (14.400) before moving to the pommel horse where he'd fallen on the first day of competition.

He was much improved Sunday, earning a 13.750 after a slight struggle on his dismount. He closed out his day - and the win - on the still rings with a 14.200.

"I wanted to come here and prove that I'm excited for this year," said Moldauer. "I just show out there that I'm all about this year. I think I did that pretty well."
